Searching for your Ideal Home

The Buying Process

A straight forward process to achieving completion on your property.

On all Spanish property purchases you will need to allow approximately 10% of the purchase price to cover your buying costs. (If no mortgage is required, this should be approximately 8%). This amount from your total budget has to cover the following expenses:

Finance

If you require a mortgage to help secure your new home, Villa Lingo will be more than happy to assist you , giving you the benefit of our experience of Spanish banking, brokers and currency exchange. Through our extensive contacts in the banking community, we are able to find you the best mortgage rates and fulfill your personal needs.

Legal Representation

We would always advise that the purchasers should seek professional legal assistance, preferably from a local based Spanish solicitor (most now speak fluent English). Villa Lingo can suggest a number of legal firms who regularly work with our clients.

After Sales

Our commitment to all our clients does not stop after signing at the Notary. Following the purchase, you may be considering developing your property to some extent. We can advise on local constructors and tradesmen of good repute.

In addition, if you are not intending to move here permanently or if you require assistance with maintenance of your property, e.g. pool and garden, we have a professional team to help and advise you.
